Now is the time to support small businesses and artists in your community. It is the time to support agencies who work hard to protect our civil rights, our land, and wetlands.

 

Many often wring their hands in despair at our political decisions, thinking they can do nothing. Not true. Support of what you believe in is a big step in the right direction. Marching in the street does little to change anything and is almost instantly forgotten. Support for those who need it is a much better choice. The ten bucks you spent on going to a march or making a sign, would go a lot further as a donation for professionals who can protect the rights of our planet and civil rights. 

 

Make the effort to be kind to others and to those souls who are most at risk. Be deliberate in complimenting others, giving up your seat to infirm or elderly. Volunteer a bit of time if you can spare it, to those who help others. Be kind to civil servants, clerks, wait staff and those who must endure rude people every day. The kindness we show, spreads a little bit each time. If nothing else, our willingness to be positive, makes us a better soul. That counts!
