Creating original landscape paintings is my life’s work. Recording the land I love so much from the depth of my soul is my gift. When you own an original painting by an artist who truly understands and loves the subject they paint, you have something precious and rare, that no one else will ever have. Creating a one of a kind painting is very special.

I am excited by the landscape and all of its mysteries. From the North Carolina mountains to the deep swamps of Alabama, Georgia and Florida. I love them all and it is a privilege to record them on canvas.

If you do not like the painting I ship to you, you may return it within 10 days of the receipt of the painting for a full money back guarantee or an exchange of another painting if you wish.

There is no risk at all for you as the purchaser. Just notify me by email that you are returning the painting.  I hold all payments for 10 days before depositing in my account.

I use www.paypal.com for Internet purchases, making it very easy and convenient to purchase. If you wish to return the painting, I will send you a PayPal refund when I receive the painting returned from you.

I use USPS Priority Mail with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation for paintings 12x16 inches and smaller. 

For larger paintings I use UPS ground, insured. I am proud to say that I have had 2 returns in 25 years. One was exchanged for another painting.

Linda’s Layaway Plan

 I don’t know what happened to layaway. I’ve always liked the idea.

 Back in the day, that’s how everyone bought stuff. I guess the credit card and instant gratification have replaced layaway for most businesses, but not for mine. 

I offer layaway to all of my patrons as an option and it’s a good one. I charge no additional fees or interest for my layaway program. Unlike charging to your credit card and paying huge interest fees, you can pay me 25% down and take 12-18 months to pay off a painting if you like with no interest at all and no storage fees.

You choose the options whether monthly or quarterly payments. I will hold the painting for you and deliver it after the final payment.  

Not sure which painting you want? You can also pre-order and pay for a painting in advance or in payments, waiting for the right painting that speaks to you. When you see it, it’s already paid for. It’s the easy way to own a fine painting with no hassle or extra expense.

All paintings are sold unframed with professional mirror hangers on the Birch panels so that the painting lays flat against the wall. For Masonite panels you will be able to find ready made, inexpensive frames at most hobby shops.

Another important part of my creative life is sharing my experiences and teaching others that have a love for painting. I teach mostly online now. Art Lovers Salons

I will be delighted to schedule a studio visit for you and your friends; A private salon on week days, weekday evenings or weekends. You choose the guest list. I'll be happy to arrange it in February, or April - December of 2009. I'm just 13 miles from Gainesville, and I live in a lovely rural part of the county. I can accomodate 12 people comfortably in my studio. I'll be happy to give advice on collecting art, installation, the process of painting and what to look for when you are shopping for art. I'll prepare a nice snack and beverage for you all and we can have a nice little party. Choose something different this year for your friends. I am selling more of my work directly from my studio these days, so there is always a large selection of paintings in various sizes and price ranges. There is never a fee for Art Lover Salons and never any pressure at all to purchase art. Just come, learn something about art and enjoy the experience.

Other artists and art collectors often ask my advice about art. I've begun doing some career coaching, and have developed some useful materials to assist artists in their quest for artistic progress. The Art Resources section includes various options from which to choose.
